About
An interpreter in every pocket
Tõlk.fm is real-time AI interpretation for live events — for rooms where everyone should follow the moment, in their own language.
Real-time interpretation for live events
Tõlk.fm turns room audio into translated speech on the audience's own phones — scan a QR code, pick a language, listen in the browser.
We don't see AI interpretation as a full replacement for professional interpreters. We do believe it can make interpretation more personal, flexible, and accessible in places where human interpretation was never realistic before.
Better real-time AI models, cleaner venue audio, and fast mobile internet in everyone's pocket — it finally feels possible to open a language channel in minutes, not months. Partners can also integrate through the Tõlk.fm Public API to launch translation from their own products and automated workflows.
Tõlk.fm is in closed beta. We're looking for people who want to test it in a real room — especially:
- AV engineers & integrators
- Conference organizers
- Event managers
- Theater & performance
- Tour & museum guides
A Nordic word for interpretation
For centuries, tolk has named the interpreter across Scandinavia and the Baltic — tõlk in Estonia.
With Tõlk.fm, the name is the idea: an interpreter in every pocket.
Spelled with õ — from the Estonian tõlk, meaning interpreter.
Team
Product engineering and live-event production, combined to make multilingual rooms practical for real venues.
